The Cost of a Life Plan Community

Understanding the Cost

One of the biggest advantages of living at a Life Plan Community can be boiled down to three words: transparent, predictable fees. With this financially savvy senior living model, you get the best of both worlds –– the active, luxurious lifestyle you seek out of retirement, but with the added security of a plan for your needs later down the line.

As your life here evolves, you’ll enjoy seamless access to a full continuum of support –– from independent living to assisted living (coming soon), as well as skilled nursing and rehab –– all without every having to leave the community you call home.

What’s included in the Entrance Fee?

The one-time entrance fee is your key to a future defined by security and sophistication. This up-front investment secures your beautifully appointed residence at The Waterford and, more importantly, guarantees your access to our full continuum of care at predictable rates for life. Many residents find that the proceeds from selling their previous home comfortably cover this fee. It is a thoughtful investment in your peace of mind, allowing you to live freely today, knowing that your long-term health needs are already addressed with elegance and foresight.

What’s included in the Monthly Fee?

Your monthly fee simplifies life by consolidating numerous household expenses into one predictable payment. This fee covers the daily luxuries and conveniences of life at The Waterford, including the meticulous upkeep of our lush grounds, access to premier amenities, a calendar of curated social events, and gourmet dining experiences. It also liberates you from the burdens of homeownership, such as property taxes, utility bills, and unexpected maintenance. Most residents discover this fee is comparable to, or even less than, their previous monthly expenses, allowing for a seamless transition to a more carefree and elevated lifestyle.
